On your Ipad, find your App store
Next, in the search bar, type in Zoom cloud meetings
Click the install button.
Now press the Home button on your ipad (the button on the main screen at the front).
Next click on the zoom button to start zoom.
A new window will appear. Look at the bottom and click Sign Up
In the sign up screen, type in your email address, first name, and last name.
Now read the Terms of service, and click the circle next to I agree to the terms Of Service, then click "Sign up" in the top right hand corner.
Verifying your email address
Click the Home button on your iPad to go back to the main screen.
Open your email program and look for the email from zoom.us, open it.
In the email is a big blue button with the words Activate Account on it. Click this button.
The button will open up a screen with your email on it. Choose a password for your account. This password must include at least 1 number, 1 lower case letter and 1 upper case letter, with a minimum of 8 characters.
Click the orange continue button.
On the next screen click the "skip this step" button (you can add people later). Now click the home button on your iPad again to get back to the main screen.
Logging into Zoom
Look for the zoom icon on your screen and click to open it.
Click sign in.
In the sign in box, enter your email address and password. Click sign in. Zoom asks you for access to your calendar, click ok.
Zoom now asks you for access to your microphone, click ok.
In the next box click "call using internet audio".
Click ok to use your camera.
To invite other people.
You should now see yourself on the screen.
Click the screen with your finger, and a menu appears for a moment.
On the top right there is a participants option in the menu. Click it.
It lists all the people in the conversation. At the bottom of this window click the "invite" button. Another menu pops up, choose a method you would like to contact your participants.
Send a message using the chosen method.
When your participant receives the email / message / etc, they can join by clicking the link. If they have zoom installed they will join the meeting. Once they join, you may be prompted to admit them, click the admit button and it will let them in.
If participants can't join, check to see if they have zoom installed. If your participant is on a windows laptop, they will need to accept the zoom download to connect to your meeting.
If people join your meeting and experience no video or microphone, you have the option to help them out.
Click the screen, click the Participants menu and select the appropriate icon (mic / video) next to their name.
Important note. The free version of Zoom allows unlimited conversation for up to 3 peoples. If you have more than 3 people in your meeting, the timer kicks in allowing you no longer than 40 minutes, but don't worry, zoom tells you when it's closing soon allowing you all to say goodbye.
